I received this sms about an hour ago, and i replied with : I don't celebrate Kartini's day, but thanks anyway.

For me, it's very unfair to celebrate the birthday of a woman who *only* wrote letters complaining how hard being a (Javanese) woman in Indonesia that era, apa kabar pejuang perempuan lainnya? Mereka ga melakukan hal yang less berguna kok.

Besides, what Kartini fought for is not gender-equality at all. She wanted every woman be more skillful in domestic area. Sekolah keputrian bo~!

Agak mengherankan buat gue. Selama itu belum terjawab, gue ga mau ngerayain Kartini...

Hub : Well, it depends. Does she do that intentionally?

Me : Sure, she loves people staring at her.

Hub : In that case, she's not the object.

Me : Kewl. I think the same way too..

Hub : But..

Me : what?

Hub : The problems is..we live in the culture where people have shallow opinions about sexiness which is 'women with sexy outfits are prostitutes', society will still think that she is an object, and worse, society will abuse her : emotionally; and even physically.

Me : *sigh* yeah, you're so right.

Hub : Hey, you know what... I just loooove your attitudes when you wear sexy outfits.

Me : Why?

Hub : because you show 'hey, you can see me, but you can't touch me, fuck off!' attitude

Me : Hahaha... wells, for you, of course you can and are allowed to touch me.

Hub : hey, are u flirting with me?

Me : what do you think?
